QRious marketing

I’m no great fan of QR Codes, given how badly some firms have used them - but I was highly amused to be sent this one as a link by one of our social media team this morning.

The code has been created by Guinness, and only works if the pint glass is not empty (i.e. it’s full of beer) and if the background is black (i.e. the company’s own product):

From a company so well known for great advertisements as Guinness, it’s yet another brilliant example of well thought through marketing.

Has anyone seen a better use of them?
